THROWING CLASSES

Our classes are  mixed with beginning and intermediate students, which encourages a cooperative learning environment.  Demonstrations are tailored to each class's needs.

Call or stop by to check out our current classes.  We offer a variety of class options, including Throwing and periodic Hand-building workshops. Grab a friend and come join the fun!

Beginners: Our Beginners Class focuses on basic throwing techniques.  Most students complete 5 to 10 items during the 8-week session.

Intermediate: Our Intermediate class focuses on advancing pottery fundamentals.  Students can work on projects of their choosing.  Demonstrations will be catered to individual student projects.

Remember that pottery is a process—patience and perseverance are helpful. The difficult part is getting over that initial muscle memory process. If you are patient, have fun with learning, and keep trying, you’ll enjoy pottery for a lifetime.

CLASS INFORMATION

Students pay a flat $250 fee which covers studio space during the duration of the class and firing and one bag of clay (25lbs). Additional clay can be purchased for $25 (for 25lbs). If you have questions on if our workshops will be a good fit please give us a call.

  • Registration is done in store or by phone.

  • Tuition is to be paid before class starts.

  • A $50 deposit is required to hold your spot.

  • Students also get free studio time during regular store hours for the 8-week session.
